EDSODA සංකල්පයට අනුව අපේක්ෂිත ප්රතිඵල ළඟාකර ගැනීම සඳහා උපාය මාර්ග සම්පත්වල අවශ්යතාවය පිළිබඳව හඳුනා ගනිමු. උපාය මාර්ගයන්හි උපාය මාර්ගික අරමුණු මෙන් ම එම අරමුණු සාක්ෂාත් කෙරෙන මාර්ගය ද ඇතුළත් ය. ඒ අනුව ගමනාන්තය හෙවත් දැක්ම සහ එම දැක්ම සාක්ෂාත් කර ගන්නා සැලසුම් මාර්ගය හඳුනාගත යුතු ය. ඒ අනුව පාසලේ වර්තමාන තත්ත්වය හොඳින් අවබෝධ කරගෙන පහත සඳහන් විශ්ලේෂණ සංරචක අධ්යයනය කරමින් අවශ්ය උපාය මාර්ගවලට පිවිසිය යුතු ය.

පළමුවෙන් පාසල සතු ගොඩනැගිලි, කාර්ය මණ්ඩලය හා මූල්ය තත්ත්වය, අභ්යන්තර සම්පත් පිළිබඳවත්, ඒවා ප්රයෝජනයට ගෙන ඇති ආකාරය පිළිබඳව සොයා බැලිය යුතු ය. එසේම දැනටමත් ප්රයෝජනයට ගෙන නොමැති ගොඩනැගිලි හා කාර්ය මණ්ඩලය සතු විභව්යතා තිබේ දැයි සොයා බැලිය යුතු ය. එසේ ම පාසලේ අවට කර්මාන්ත ශාලාව හෝ ආධාර ලබන්නන් මඟින් ලබාගත හැකි සම්පත් පිළිබඳ විමසිය යුතු ය.
පාසලට බලපාන බාහිර සාධක පිළිබඳ විශ්ලේෂණයෙන් අදහස් වන්නේ පාසලේ අනාගතයට මෙම සාධකවල ඇති බලපෑම සොයා බැලීම ය. දේශපාලන, ආර්ථික, සමාජීය, තාක්ෂණික හා අධ්යාපන සාධක පාසලට කරනු ලබන බලපෑම මෙහි දී විශ්ලේෂණය විය යුතු ය.
අවසානයේ දී පාසලේ ආයතනික, සංස්කෘතික හා ඇගයුම් පද්ධතිය පාසලේ වර්තමාන තත්ත්වය අවබෝධ කර ගැනීම සඳහා විශ්ලේෂණය කිරීම ප්රයෝජනවත් ය.
මීට අමතරව පෞද්ගලික ආයතන මඟින් දැනට සිදු කරනු ලබන (ීඋධඔ ්භ්ඛශීෂී) පාසලට යොදා ගැනීම තුළින් පාසලේ ශක්ති, දුර්වලතා, අවස්ථා, තර්ජන විමසා බැලීම ද සිදු කළ හැකි ය.
සැලසුමක අරමුණ ඉටු වී ඇත් දැ යි වඩා හොඳින් සොයා බැලීම සඳහා නියාමනය, ඇගයීම සවිස්තරාත්මකව සොයා බැලීම සිදු කළ යුතු ය. ඒ අනුව දර්ශකවලින් ලැබෙන දත්තවල ප්රතිපෝෂණය සොයා බැලේ. ඇගයීම තුළින් සැලසුම් ක්රියාවලියේ අරමුණු, ක්රියාවලිය හා ඵලය පිළිබඳ ක්රමානුකූල සමාලෝචනයක් කෙරේ. දර්ශක තුළින් ප්රතිඵල මනින ගුණාත්මක හා ප්රමාණාත්මක විචල්ය තුළින් සරල හා විශ්වාසදායක ආකාරයට ප්රතිඵල මැන ගැනීමට පුළුවන. එම නිසා විදුහල්පති විසින් පාසලේ කටයුතු සැලසුම් අනුව ක්රියාත්මක වේ දැයි සොයා බලා ඵලදායි හා ප්රමාණවත් තොරතුරු නියාමනයෙන් පද්ධතියක් ගොඩ නගාගෙන උපාය මාර්ග සම්පත් යොදා ගනිමින් මෙහෙවර ඔස්සේ පාසල් දැක්ම කරා ගමන් සකසා ගත යුතු ය.
The EDSODA concept recognizes the need for strategic resources to achieve desired outcomes. Strategy includes strategic objectives as well as the means by which those objectives are achieved. Accordingly, the destination or vision and the planning path to achieve that vision should be identified. Accordingly, the current situation of the school should be well understood and the necessary strategies should be approached by studying the following analytical components.

To analyze the culture and values of the school.
First of all, the school's buildings, staff and financial status, internal resources and how they have been utilized should be investigated. Also, it should be investigated whether there are potentials of buildings and staff that are not yet utilized. Similarly, the factory or the aid recipients should ask about the resources available around the school.
The analysis of external factors affecting the school means looking at the impact of these factors on the future of the school. The impact of political, economic, social, technological and educational factors on the school should be analyzed here.
Finally, it is useful to analyze the institutional, cultural and evaluation system of the school to understand the current state of the school.
Apart from this, it is also possible to examine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the school by applying the research conducted by private institutions to the school.
In order to better ascertain whether the purpose of a plan has been achieved, regulation and evaluation should be thoroughly investigated. Accordingly, the feedback from the data from the indicators will be looked into. Evaluation is a systematic review of the objectives, process and results of the planning process. Results can be measured in a simple and reliable way through qualitative and quantitative variables that measure results through indicators. Therefore, the principal should find out whether the activities of the school are carried out according to the plan, build a system with effective and sufficient information regulation and use strategic resources to make progress towards the school vision through the mission.
